An illustrated report: portraits of the builders, and Myloi as km 0
8 July 1891 (26 June 1891 old style) Proven
The Athens daily To Asty printed engraved portraits of Ernest Rolin and Louis Rosseels, 'the founders of the Myloi–Kalamata company', and a large engraving of a bridge near Achladokampos. Its description of the line lists Myloi station at kilometre 0, second class, with two storeys. At km 0.4 stood the 25 m iron bridge of Lerna, whose foundations had to go down 12 m before firm ground was found.
Note: The engraving is captioned 'the bridge of Achladokampos'; its four iron piers match the 252 m Katovrysi bridge at km 27.
