Discover Myloi

The pier and the lighthouse
The railway used to run all the way onto the pier. Now it's the place where the village gets together in the evening.

Mount Pontinos
At the top of the hill are the ruins of a castle hundreds of years old, with a little white church.
The springs of Lerna
At the foot of the hill, water comes up out of the ground. According to the Greek myth, this is where the Hydra lived.

For parents and teachers
Myloi Junior is made for children aged 9 to 12. The stories use the same facts as the rest of Visit Myloi, just in simpler words. We always tell myths and legends as stories, not as history.
The discovery walk goes past the old station. The buildings are not open and some are in private use; climbing on the locomotives is not allowed. So always let children walk together with an adult.
Pupils may use the photos in the school talk kit for a school talk or project at school, as long as they credit the source. Questions or ideas? Send Visit Myloi a message on Facebook.
