No cookies, no cookie banner
This website itself sets no cookies: not for statistics, not for advertising and not for social media. That is why you do not see a cookie banner. The only exception is a YouTube video that you choose to play yourself (see below).
One optional setting for the map
Only if you choose “Remember my choice” when loading the map does your browser store one setting (local storage, “vm-map-consent”) so the map loads automatically next time. It never leaves your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.
Videos from YouTube
Some pages show a video from YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click “Play the video”. Only then does your browser connect to YouTube (Google), which receives your IP address and browser information and may set its own cookies. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). See Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
You can always choose “Watch on YouTube” instead; the video then opens on YouTube itself.
Other websites
When you follow a link to another website, such as a booking platform or social network, that website may use its own cookies.
