Who is responsible

The controller for this website is Visit Myloi. Contact: Facebook / Instagram.

What we do not do

Visit Myloi has no user accounts, no contact or booking forms, no newsletter, no analytics or statistics tools, no advertising and no social media plug-ins. The fonts are stored on our own server, so no data is sent to font services.

Hosting

The website is hosted by our hosting provider. Like any web server, the hosting provider processes your IP address and technical browser information to deliver the pages and to protect the service against abuse. We do not use these server logs to identify visitors.

The map

The interactive map is only loaded when you click “Load map”. Your browser then requests map images from the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which receives your IP address and browser information. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy: https://osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy

If you tick “Remember my choice”, a single setting is stored in your own browser (local storage, key “vm-map-consent”) so that the map loads automatically next time. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. You can remove it by clearing your browser's site data.

Videos from YouTube

Some pages show a video from YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click “Play the video”. Only then does your browser connect to YouTube (Google), which receives your IP address and browser information and may set its own cookies. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). See Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

You can always choose “Watch on YouTube” instead; the video then opens on YouTube itself.

Links to other websites

Links to Facebook, Instagram, booking platforms, Google Maps (for directions) and business websites open those websites. Their own privacy policies apply there.

Business listings

Some business listings include the name of an owner, for example when a business carries the owner's name. We publish this information because it is publicly available and useful for visitors (legitimate interest). If you are named and want something changed or removed, contact us and we will deal with it promptly.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, and to object to its use. Contact us at Facebook / Instagram. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example in the country where you live.
