'Every attempt to build a pier at Myloi came to nothing'
10 April 1900 (28 March 1900 old style) Proven
N. Triantafyllakos, MP for Tripoli, protested that Myloi lay at the start of the line and a good pier there would make goods for Tripoli cheaper. Theotokis answered: 'Every attempt to build a pier at Myloi came to nothing, because of the ground and the state of the sea bottom.' The law passed its third reading the next day; Nafplio got its 100,000 drachmas.
