28 April 1941 Proven

On 28 April 1941 the 5th Panzer Division, with two companies of paratroopers, pursued the British through Argos towards Tripoli and Kalamata. According to messages from the Luftwaffe, its advance guard entered Myloi at 18:10. This was the beginning of the occupation of the village.

Note: McClymont adds that no German unit records of 5th Panzer Division for 28 April were available to him; the primary record is the war diary of XXXX Army Corps (Bundesarchiv RH 24-40).
