'Les Moulins', a junction on the road to Tripolitsa
1775–1799 Probable
In the late 18th century 'les Moulins' was a junction of roads in the northeastern Peloponnese. From Tripolitsa a road came down via Achladokampos to the Mills and went on to Argos and Nafplio, while another road ran from the Mills along the coast to Astros and Prastos. This is how a reconstruction of the road network of the time by the historian Anoyatis-Pelé shows it.
Note: A modern reconstruction from travel accounts, not a map of the time.
