5 December 1943 Proven

In reprisal for the attack, on 5 December 1943 German forces hanged about fifty men from the beams of the station shelter at Andritsa and from nearby trees. Most sources say they were prisoners brought from the prison of Tripoli. A monument by the station recalls them, and a memorial service is held every year.

Note: Danousis (1994) speaks of 50 mostly young men from the village; argolika.gr and martiriko-kommeno.gr speak of 50–51 prisoners from Tripoli, which the civil-war archives (a victim's father from Laconia) support.
