30 March 1824 (18 March 1824 old style) Proven

During the civil war of 1824, two brigs carrying the members of the government dropped anchor in the roadstead of the mills of Lerna. Nafplio was in the hands of their opponents, so the mills became their foothold on the mainland.

Note: Jourdain gives 13 June for the battle of 1825, the Old Style date also used by the Greek sources, so his dates are taken here as Old Style and converted (+12 days). This is an assumption.
