The Five F fish taverna was founded in Myloi in 1965 by Dimitris Maragos. For decades it was run by the family; today his grandson Andreas Maragos runs it together with his wife Marina.

The name comes from an old Greek taverna saying, roughly “friend, bring friends, dine and leave”. The menu centres on fried and grilled fish and seafood, salads and home-made dishes, with ouzo and tsipouro from many regions of Greece and wines from local producers. The taverna lies on the Myloi coastline, looking across the gulf towards Nafplio.

Specialities

  • Marina’s shrimp pasta
  • Andreas’s marinated anchovies
