Loukas Kouvaras
Engineer, president of the community of Myloi, first mayor of Lerna
Born in Myloi in 1931, he trained as a mechanical engineer in Houston and worked for multinationals around the world from 1956 to 1988. Back home he was president of the community (1995–1998) and the first mayor of Lerna (elected 1998 and 2002), and built the town hall in Myloi. He wished to be buried where he was born.
